Realtor interviews business
Allow me to introduce myself as Jacqueline Watson, a Realtor in the Toronto/GTA area. However, my expertise extends beyond real estate. I am also a Mediator specializing in Labour Relations. My passion lies in more than just selling homes; I strive to transform lives and empower individuals to achieve financial freedom through home ownership.
In addition to my real estate endeavors, I am building a thriving community through my podcast, Elementary. This platform allows me to engage with various businesses and share their stories. My career path initially began in Toronto & GTA, coinciding with a successful tenure as a Director of Labour Relations, in healthcare working in the long term care retirement and commune services industry, which I hold dear to my heart.
Combining my passions, I feel incredibly fortunate to work as both a Realtor and a Labour Mediator. Each day, I have the privilege of doing what I love, and I am immensely grateful for this opportunity. The journey that has led me here has been remarkable, and I cherish every experience along the way.
Furthermore, I recently had the honour of joining the Pilot Place board. Witnessing the incredible impact this organization has on people's lives fills me with gratitude. I am delighted to volunteer my time and contribute in any way possible to support their noble mission.

Budgeting and Real Estate Market Update: Expert Tips!
Budgeting and Real Estate Market Update: Expert Tips!
Ever feel like you just moved, spent a ton, and now you’re wondering… “How do I enjoy life without overspending?” You’re not alone.
Life doesn’t need to feel heavy. You can have joy and peace of mind—even after a big move. Downsizing or starting fresh should feel freeing, not stressful. And I’m here to walk with you through that.
In today’s episode, I’m keeping it real and talking about two key things:
- Budgeting after a move — because that new home still needs furniture, groceries, and a little fun
- How to stay debt-free while living your best life — yes, even in this economy!
I also give a warm shout-out to all my amazing listeners in Vietnam! I just got back from a trip there and I’m still smiling from all the beauty, culture, and connection. What a gift. 🌏💛
Now back to business—
I talk about how it feels coming home after travel, how the market is shifting, and what that means for buyers and sellers right now. I share updates on the Toronto and GTA real estate market, with real talk for anyone planning to move this year.
Plus, I walk through my favourite budgeting tips I share with my downsizers, especially the ones who’ve sold the family home and are adjusting to a new way of living. Think:
✔️ Weekly fun money
✔️ Choosing quality over quantity
✔️ Cutting the fluff, keeping the joy
It’s not about sacrifice—it’s about choosing what matters most. And, after all, isn’t that what downsizing is all about?
If you’re thinking of making a move—or just made one—and need help getting your new lifestyle sorted, let’s talk. I’ve got you.
Thanks for listening, and I’m so happy to be back on the mic. 💛
